recent review of CD by arsenio orteza HERE:

Lewis Hill: Coming Back (Dr. Hill) -- Acadiana's (and maybe the world's) foremost singer-songwriter gynecologist returns with an eight-song, 31-minute CD. The brevity and acoustic mellowness of it should be encouraging to his patients -- the former because it suggests he's devoting more time and attention to them than to his avocation, the latter because it suggests he possesses the sensitivity to generate the calm required by his profession (especially the line that goes "Now breathe in deeply," evocative of Lamaze even if it does occur in a song called Bipolar Song). Meanwhile, musicological non-patients of either sex will welcome yet another Leaving on a Jet Plane that isn't by John Denver, Hill's unearthing of an obscure Elvis Presley number, and Walk in the Part, a sweet, vaguely jazzy instrumental duet with (and by) Michael Istre featuring Hill on violin that suggests he and Istre really should get together more often. Rating: Three bedside manners out of five.

"Swing Bayou" is a jazz duo. Bryan Baudoin is on the guitar and Lewis Hill is on violin.

Swing Bayou plays old standards, including jazz and old pop tunes from pre-1950. Inspired by the likes of Django Rhinehart and Stephane Graphelli, Swing Bayou likes to play the tunes for what they are, integral parts of Americana. Just about anybody who listens to Swing Bayou says, "Hey, I've heard that tune before....what is it? I can't recall the name, but I know I like it!"
